In 2012, Mark and Crystal set out to start our own heavy-haul business from our small Texas hometown. With grit and a commitment to getting the job done right, we poured our hearts into building up our “mom-and-pop” operation. Over the years, we’ve moved countless tons of machinery across rugged terrain, enduring everything the road could throw at us.

One day, while transporting a large Caterpillar excavator, a rock kicked up from the road and hit the windshield. The crack spread faster than we could believe, turning a perfectly good piece of equipment into a costly repair. We both knew there had to be a better way to protect these machines that are such a big part of the work we do every day.

That rock turned out to be the spark we needed. We began working on the idea of EquipGuard—a durable, hard plastic cover designed to shield excavator windshields from the everyday hazards of the job. It wasn’t easy at first, but we drew on our experience and what we’d learned hauling heavy equipment to design something that could withstand just about anything the road or job site could throw at it.

EquipGuard is our way of giving back to other hardworking operators and businesses like ours, helping them keep their equipment safe and reliable. From our small town in Texas, we’re proud to bring this product to market, making equipment protection more accessible to everyone in the industry.
